Olympic lifts teach an athlete how to apply large amounts of force. Our Olympic lifting classes teach our members how to effectively activate more of their muscle fibers more rapidly than others who aren’t trained to do so. This class is a combination of Olympic lifting, powerlifting and any technique driven movements and drills that are performed to better your Clean, Jerk and Snatch.  The focus of this course is to perfect movement and positioning and not necessarily about how heavy you can lift.

Typically, our members will come in for an evaluation by one of our Olympic Lifting coaches. Following their evaluation, members will be given individualized programming to fit their needs – whether your needs are fundamental (learning basic Olympic lifting mechanics) or a bit more advanced (improving your ability to lift heavy loads), our coaches will design a plan to get you where you want to go. Beginner plans will focus on proper positions before adding weight and speed. Intermediate to advanced lifting plans will focus on speed and refinement of technique as well as muscle conditioning.
